Greek information technology market is on the rise
Executives with a long history in the field estimate that the weighted average progress observed in the last months is approximately 6-7%
The Greek information technology market is recovering, according to estimates by experienced executives of the industry. After several years of ongoing losses and despite the gloomy forecasts for 2014, executives with a long history in the field estimate that both B2B and B2C markets (consumer products) show a weighted average progress of 6-7%, in the last two quarters.
The signs are encouraging, as some large orders of electronic equipment are pending. At the same time, there is also mobility at the level of IT infrastructure. The focus is now on the new data centers that will enhance the supply of IT services through Cloud.
In 2013 the domestic IT market (excluding communications) was close to 1.5 billion, dropping further by 4.2 % compared to 2012.
