Reuters: Greece will ask for a 50 year repayment period
The issue of extending the repayment of bailout loans of Greece is reviewed today by Reuters news agency, citing statements of senior Greek finance ministry officials.

According to the anonymous source alleged by Reuters, Greece will formally propose the extension of the repayment of "Rescue packages" up to 50 years, in order to make debt sustainable.

The same official also told Reuters that another measure that Greece will propose will be the reduction of the interest rate on bilateral loans received from the eurozone, or alternatively, converting them to fixed, from fluctuating.

Notably, in a publication on April 13th, Reuters observed that the elongation of repayment of borrowings of Greece from 30 to 50 years would be an ideal solution in order to ensure the sustainability of debt.
