Earlier on Friday, the minister of State Ilias Mossialos unveiled the long-expected plan to restructure and cut back on the number of state-run television channels and affiliated radio stations across the country. The new scheme envisions the elimination of the ET-1 television frequency, the closure of seven regional radio stations and of an affiliated magazine related to state TV schedules.
