Concern in America for violence phenomena
State Department spokesman Jen Psaki welcomed the "strong position" of the Greek government to tackle extremism in response to a question about the arrests of the Golden Dawn members.
Specifically, Psaki welcomed the "strong position taken by the Greek government against the violence of the extremists of the Golden Dawn."
She added that "we are deeply concerned and condemn statements and actions attributed to the party of the Golden Dawn that seems to be seeking to abet xenophobia, hostility towards minorities and anti-Semitism."
