All citizens of Greece should wish that they would not suddenly fall ill or have any emergency legal issues, since pharmacists and lawyers
are going on strike.
The President of the Union, Thodoris Abatzoglou, stated that “The dialogue with the Ministry finished abruptly, since it was just for show. We disagree on 4 basic points: the suggested opening hours, which are exhausting, ownership, which is the most important issue for us, discounts for the NHS, which are excessive, and the population criteria that will allow thousands of new pharmacies to open, destroying the pharmaceutical system.”
He also warned patients with special needs to get their medicine today and tommorow in order to avoid any health problems.
All law unions of Greece (apart from the Athens one, which has not yet made an announcement) have decided to strike for three days, from Wednesday to Friday.
