Die presse: Greece is No1 destination
The Austrian newspaper ranks our country as No1 destination
“Greece is again the No1 tourist destination” is the title of today's full-page publication of the Austrian newspaper “Di presse”.
The newspaper hosted an interview with the head of the new travel company in Austria “Detur”, where he underlined that “Greece will be again the No1 tourist destination for this summer”.
He also noted that Greece returns to tourism market, despite recording 30% increase in prices.
Austrians have showed particular sympathy towards Greece from summer of 2013, since a 40% increase was recorded.
For this summer also, it seems that Greece will be one of their top preferences.
This positive climate seems to have been created since the beginning of the year where several Austrian newspaper hosted special themes for Greece and it is proven by the increase in package bookings to our country with Rhodes holding the first place in this year's tourist season.
