Telephone call warns of two bombs in Royal Olympic Hotel

Police are in uproar after a telephone call to zougla webpage and Eleftherotypia newspaper, which claimed that two bombs will be going off on Royal Olympic hotel in three quarters of an hour.

The hotel is located next to the Temple of Olympian Zeus.

Reportedly, the hotel was meant to host the presentation of Golden Dawn's european parliament candidates at 20:00.

As protothema.gr reported this morning, after the initial investigation over yesterday's attack in the heart of Athens, Counterterrorism analysts are looking into the fact of new bomb attacks targetting either financial institutions or police assets.

According to perfectly valid information, they consider the act as certainly commited by Nikos Maziotis along with the People's Fighting Group. The way they acted, the bomb, the dual phonecalls, the escape route through motorcycle which was not abandoned “points to” Maziotis, who repeats the “Revolutionary Struggle” group's fighting tactics. However, what cannot be overlooked, is a possible cooperation between Nikos Maziotis and Christodoulos Ksiros in an attempt to gather all urban rebels to a common front in order to upgrade their actions.
