FAZ: Six reasons why Greece can hope for economic growth
The German newspaper mentions that Merkel does not come in Greece as the “strict auditor” but as a “witness” of the successful progress of Greek economy
Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper mentions the six reasons why Greece can still hope for economic growth stressing also that Angela Merkel comes to Athens as a “witness” of the successful progress of Greek economy rather than the “strict auditor”.
The six reasons according to the FAZ newspaper are:
- Greece's return to the markets. Greek Prime Minister wants to emphasize that the efforts of Greek people were not in vain
- The banks have returned to the privatization field following the bank consolidation with 40 billion from the European Stability Mechanism
- The latest multi-bill passed by the Parliament.
- Public projects are to start again as the European Commission gave the green light
The six reasons according to the FAZ newspaper are:
