Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree said forces targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh with several drones early Wednesday. He said forces also carried out two operations targeting Abha International Airport and Khamis Mushait Air Base with ballistic missiles and drones. Saree said another operation targeted Saudi troop concentrations at the Daghareer and al-Mawsim camps in Jizan and the Aqifa camp in Asir. He revealed that the strikes killed and wounded dozens of Saudi soldiers and officers and set fire to weapons depots. He added that forces shot down a Saudi CH-4 armed reconnaissance drone over al-Jawf province. The Saudi-led coalition claimed it intercepted ballistic missiles and destroyed launch platforms and weapons facilities. The statements follow Monday's operations that targeted King Khalid airport, an Aramco refinery in Rabigh and sites in Asir, Najran and Jizan, which Saree said responded to 60 Saudi strikes in 24 hours. He has declared Saudi airspace an operations zone and warned international airlines, excluding the airspace over Mecca and Medina.
