Samaras: These elections are not for ND but for the country

Speeking to young people at Vellidio, Thessaloniki, on Thursday, ND president Antonis Samaras said “the coming elections are for the country, for Greece”.

Referring to the dilemmas of the elections, he said they are between "non government or government" and "drachma or euro."

"We do not touch, we do not risk anything that leads to the destruction of the country. What does Tsipras mean by saying the euro is not a fetish?".

Referring to PASOK, he said that "the deep core of PASOK has moved to SYRIZA", while reminding his audience of the "there is money" motto, he said that within a few days SYRIZA found 2 billion euros.

"This Sunday will determine whether we will take a leap forward or make a backward plunge," Samaras added.

"Here in Thessaloniki I know I am addressing the most dynamic and most wronged part of society. This is the new generation and its backs have wrongly taken on the burden and implications of the accumulated debt by all of us who have lived before you."

He also pledged that ND will create employment positions and the right conditions at universities and Greece in order to prevent the Greeks from fleeing abroad.
