Σαμαράς στην Bild: Πρέπει να αλλάξει το πρόγραμμα για την Ελλάδα

“We are Europeans, what holds us together is stronger than any crisis!”

“We are Europeans, what holds us together is stronger than any crisis!”

This message was sent to the German public, through the statements of the president of New Democracy, Antonis Samras, to the Bild newspaper two days before the polls open in Greece.

Speaking to journalist Paul Ronzheimer, Mr. Samaras stresses that there is no issue of returning to the drachma, since such a development would have disastrous consequences not only for Greece, but for the Eurozone as a whole.

He stressed that the Greek economic program should be changed “in order to achieve the targets set which, just like the basic principles of the program, are indisputable”.

The ND president points out that “regardless of what our political differences are, the signature of the Greek state is binding on all parties in the country. The repayment of loans has not been questioned”.

According to the newspaper, the New Democracy  party is the predominant one for the top place in the elections, and the Bild journalist underlines the fact that the discussion on the changes to the program will start immediately after the election.
