The body of another girl was recovered today Wednesday from the Turkish fishing vessel that was brought to surface at the sea area of Farmakonisi.
 
The fishing vessel “Coznuru” sank on January 20, was transferred to Leros and today further thorough check was held in the presence of an investigator from Kos.
 
According to the Hellenic Coast Guard, the unfortunate girl had "stuck at the bottom of the forward fence."
 
The body was transferred to the Hospital of Leros and then to the Dodecanese Forensic Service for autopsy.
 
On Tuesday, a team of the Coast Guard pulled from the sunken fishing boat a woman about 30 years, a boy about 10 years and an infant of 1-2 years old.

It should be reminded that the fishing boat with the immigrants was spotted by the Coast Guard being at risk in that specific sea area. During the rescue attempt the boat sank under conditions that are still under investigation, resulting in the survival of only sixteen people.
