Athenians will find themselves without any means of rail transport, for more than 4 hours on Tuesday, since rail operators have decided on a strike.
Specifically, the Metro, the electric railway and trams will be immobilized from 12 noon until 4 pm. However, trains will be stopping half an hour earlier, while full transportation services will resume around 16.30.
Rail operators are complaining about working comditions in these modes of transportation, salary cuts, SRA abolition, closures and mergers of institutions and the reduction in the workforce resulting in the failure of the modes of transportation to function smoothly and properly.
