Sanctions against 15 Russian officials were imposed on Tuesday by the European Union.
According to Reuters, the list includes Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak, State Duma Deputy Chairperson Lyudmila Svetsova, the current Chief of the General staff of the Armed forces of Russia Valery Gerasimov and leaders of Ukrainian separatists.
The sanctions include asset "freezes" and visa bans.
