Athens Stock Exchange opening: Rise
Βasic share price index up 1.00%, standing at 1,261 points
Equity prices were rising on Tuesday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index up 1.00%, standing at 1,261 points at 11:00 am, and turnover at 9.83 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE 20 index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 1.05%, and the FTSE/ASE MID 40 index was up 0.53%.
All Individual sector indices were moving upwards, with the biggest gains in Telecoms, up 2.09; Travel and Recreation, up 2.09% and in Health, up 1.40%.
Of the stocks traded, 44 were up, 5 were down, and 12 were unchanged.
