“They were determined to kill their rivals”

"I realized that it was not simply a political party but an organization that aimed at violence and not of the simple kind. All these men were determined even to kill if they believed that the victim was their opponent," one of the two former Golden Dawn members under the status of protected witness says in a testimony given to Deputy Prosecutor C. Vourliotis of the Supreme Court.

Equally shocking is the deposition of the second protected witness the to C. Vourliotis. Reportedly, it is a woman who was a former member of the Golden Dawn and she told Vourliotis that "every time there was a police raid on the organization they were tipped off by the Nikaia Police Station." She adds that the Golden Dawn had the back of the police and speaks about a guy named Tasos who was recruiting children aged 14-17 years for the Golden Dawn.
