A proposal for a unifying government of national unity was put forth by ND President Antonis Samaras under two conditions:
The first condition, according to Mr. Samaras, is allowing the country to stay within the Eurozone. The second condition is the amendment of the Memorandum policies in order to have growth and relieve the Greek society.
Samaras argued that the political responsibility that PASOK had wore out the limits of Greek society because it didn’t include social growth policies, which he had suggested, within and without the country.
“ND emerges as the first party, something which increases our responsibilities, I acknowledge the wrath of the people, but our side will not leave Greece without leadership”, stated Mr. Samaras characteristically.
