happened in the case of Athina Onasi, who some years back did not want
to come to her island but now has changed her mind, circles of the International Federation for Equestrian Sports say.
Her Brazilian husband, who loves horses and business and does not want to see his wife's property remaining undeveloped, has a key role in this. So he has thought of turning Skorpios island into a model horse farm, which will grow thoroughbred race horses.
"The couple is ready to take this step. They are dealing with it as a common professional activity. They love riding and want all their business activities to be associated with it. Besides, they have a strong athletic circle to ensure their success," friends say.
It is rumored that the couple has asked Europe's best designers to prepare the sites and that they have secured breeding horses from Saudi Arabia and Belgium, as well as that this ambition can be realized by 2013.
But others take this thought a little further. "Doda loves Greece and would like to divide their time between Belgium, Argentina and our country," we are told by those close to the couple. Who can blame him? The summers in the Greek islands are unique…
