"I will come out with the shotgun and start shooting people!"

“I have been waiting for answers for 9 months now” says 52 yo Dimitris, who is holding 2 hostages in the grounds of Helesi PLC in the industrial area of Komotini. 

“The company kicked me out on the street and I want them to make me human again”, cries in anguish the armed man, threatening two employees of the company from which he was fired 9 months ago. 

He called Proto Thema and spoke with Dimitris Popotas and Aria Kaliva to make his voice heard. “The owner of the company has not given me my allowance for nine months now…”. 

During the conversation he fires a shot in the air. "I do not know how long I can take it" he says and warns: "There will be two more corpses and then I will come out with the shotgun and start shooting at people…".
