At 07.00 am this morning and as he had announced in advance through social networking sites (Facebook, Twitter), independent MP Panos Kammenos announced the creation of a new movement called "Independent Greeks."

He stated that this is an anti-memorandum movement that will appeal to all Greeks and not be "a side store for ND."
Quite a few “blue” unionists appear willing to join Kamenos’ anti-memorandum venture.
The founding declaration of the party was scheduled for 11 am but has been delayed, as announced by Panos Kammenos via Twitter, due to technical problems.
In the message accompanying the logo of the party, posted on social media, P. Kammenos notes: "Our movement is born. May the Virgin Mary be an assistant and protector. We are Many. We are Independent. We are Greeks."
