Papandreou moves to a national unity government with a different PM

According to associates of the Prime Minister, “the game of the vote of confidence will clear up with a position that will clear up the political landscape”.

- “George Papandreou will talk about a government of national unity and take himself off the position of Prime Minister to facilitate its formation”
- “He will remain PASOK president”
- “For reasons of proximity to the challenge he will propose Evangelos Venizelos as prime minister, who has participated in negotiations on the new loan agreement”
- “The PM will respond to Antonis Samaras that a transitional government of technocrats can lead Greece to the penny”
- “He will propose political governance of three to six months, as long as the ultimatum of the Troika lasts”
- “He believes that LAOS, the Democratic Alliance and the Democratic Left will respond to the call”.

In such a case, the new government will reach the number of 180 seats in the House, so as to not be affected by daily crises and differences and, most importantly, can claim to lenders that the consent required of indebted countries became a practice in Greece.
