Big losses only for Food and Beverages
Equity prices were rising at the start of trading on Thursday at the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index up 0.33%, standing at 978.87 points at 11:15 am local time, and turnover at 12.894 million euros.

standing at 978.87 points at 11:15 am local time, and turnover at 12.894

Individual sector indices were mostly moving upward, with the biggest gains
in Travel and Recreation, up 2.25%, Commerce, up 1.79%, and Raw Materials, up
1.49%, while the biggest losses were recorded in Food and Beverages, down 3.00%.
The FTSE/ASE 20 index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was down 0.30%, the FTSE/ASE MID 40 index was up 0.60% and the FTSE/ASE-80 small cap index was up 0.10%.
Of the stocks traded, 37 were up, 31 were down, and 19 remained unchanged.
