On Saturday morning, about 200 taxi owners gathered at Karaiskaki Square in central Athens, where they held meetings on the future of their mobilizations.
At the Malgara toll station, around 200 taxis and their drivers raised the toll booth bars, allowing the car drivers heading for Thessaloniki to speed through freely.
Taxi owners have continued their mobilizations since 10am on Saturday, when Kalamata, Sparta and Tripoli taxis opened up the tolls of Aseah and Tripoli-Corinth, while Corinth and Argos taxis have opened up the Spathovouni tolls.
Protests were carried out in Chania airport by local taxi owners who lined up their vehicles outside the terminal, without preventing the movement of passengers by other means.
The ticket vendors in the Vai Palm forests were symbolically seized by taxi drivers on Saturday, allowing free access to the public.
Furthermore, taxi drivers distributed flowers and leaflets to people passing through, a symbolic gesture meant to explain to both citizens and tourists why they are protesting.
