"A thousand doors" exhibition
An exhibition of works at Gennadius Library from May 5 to June 30
The organization NEON and the Whitechapel Gallery of London present the exhibition "A Thousand Doors". The exhibition is hosted at Gennadius Library curated by Iwona Blazwick, the Director of the Whitechapel Gallery.
The exhibition will present arts of Greek and international artists and it will be installed inside the library spaces and outside them in its gardens.
The selected works are executed in a wide range of media, including video, sound and sculpture installations.
Some of the works presented in the exhibition are the sculpture installation by Juan Munoz, a tree sculpture by Giuseppe Penone and a sculptural poem by Georg Herold.
The exhibition will also include series of programs, such as free guided tours, open discussions, and educational programs created by Greek and international curators who have participated in the Curatorial Exchange Program organized by NEON and the Whitechapel Gallery since 2012.
