Doctors plan to take a sample from his wife in order to see if she has also been affected by the virus while the rest of the 69-year old's co-passengers in the flight from Jeddah remain in quarantine.
At the same time, according to information, the taxi driver who on Thursday, April 17 took the patient from the Athens airport to Amfiali in Piraeus district, has been located.
The same sources say that the taxi driver was away from Athens and had deactivated his mobile phone.
He will be transferred immediately to a hospital and undergo tests, in order to see whether he displays symptoms of the deadly virus.
