The Turkish corvette Bandirma entered Greek territorial waters at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday and remained almost one day in the southeastern and central Aegean Sea violating the Greek territorial waters at will
 
The Greek General Staff of Defense assessed as a serious provocation the move by the Turkish corvette Bandirma to sail for nearly 19 hours within Greek territorial waters in the southeastern and central Aegean.
 
Coming from the eastern Mediterranean, the Turkish corvette entered Greek territorial waters on March 26 at about 9:45 am. Yesterday morning Bandirma sailed within Greek territorial waters in the southeastern and central Aegean moving around several Greek islands.
 
The Turkish corvette came out of Greek territorial waters at about 4:30 am Thursday passing through the Kafirea narrow (Cavo Doro) and following a northeast course.
 
According to the General Staff of Defense “ships and means of the Hellenic Navy monitored and are monitoring this warship throughout the duration of its course.”
