Greek Foreign Ministry for German reparations: The Legal Council is the only way

The Greek Foreign Ministry characterizes the request for an opinion of the Legal Council of State (NSK) for the overall handling regarding the German reparations as the only way towards the effective protection of Greece’s national interests.
 
Replying to the SYRIZA MP Manolis Glezos that said the request for a second decision by NSK is a product of fear and of wanting to waist time, baptizing the opinion of the Council as "proposal", the Foreign Ministry responded with a statement that this is the only way.
 
As the statement said "when Glezos reads the findings of the Legal Council of State, he will understand that the initiative of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, to consult the Legal Council of State for the overall handling of the case and the further cooperation of executives from the Bank of Greece and the General Accounting Office, was the only way for the practical and effective protection of Greek national interests."
