Alpha Bank: Greece is now a capital attracting country
"Greece is currently able to restore the conditions that will enable it to achieve a strengthening of its economy, with significant inflows of venture capital, as already happened in 2013 to a greater extent than expected," Alpha Bank economic analysts say in the last weekly financial statement of the bank. They stress, however, that considerable caution should be exercised in the way of implementing the economic policy, "because we have to deal not only with the distrust of the markets for what is happening in Greece but also the impact of the developments in emerging markets, although the situation in Greece is completely different."

"If anything, Greece is now a capital attracting country, and it should not be influenced by the escapism of funds that lately hits on countries classified as emerging economies," the bank's analysts say, and point out that "the outflow of funds from Greece in recent years due to the state debt crisis is expected to be reversed as fiscal adjustment also builds confidence and the growth prospects of the Greek economy are gradually restored."
