Crucial votes for property tax and auctions

Double test for the ruling majority in parliament today with two votings for approval of the draft legislations for the Single Tax on Real Estate (ENFIA) and the protection of the primary residence from auctions.
 
The roll call vote on the ENFIA is expected to start shortly and will be followed by the discussion of the auctions and its voting that is expected to take place around midnight.
 
Tsipras: Stealing of incomes
 
The opposition leader spoke of "a coup de grace in the country of the Memorandum" referring to the bills for property tax and auctions, speaking of a "devaluation plan targeting reductions in wages and pensions and confiscation of property. You are taking homes and deposits with a finance minister who read Lenin."
 
Tsipras spoke of the government's attempt to steal the incomes of citizens and accused Stournaras of redistributing "from the poor to the rich."
 
The leader of the main opposition urged MPs to vote against the draft laws for the Single Tax on Real Estate and the auctions.

"We protect the deposits and the banking system. Your priority is to snatch the political power even under disaster situations," New Democracy parliamentary spokesman Makis Voridis replied to the leader of SYRIZA.
