"Yes in principle" for the multi-bill
The multi-bill was voted in favor in principle by the majority of members of the parliamentary Committee on Economic Affairs. ND and PASOK voted in favor while the opposition parties, including DIMAR, voted against.

Earlier, the representatives of municipal bodies, educators and public administration talked to the committee expressing their strong disagreement with the forwarding provisions.

WTO - OTA president Themis Balasopoulos said cleaning employees of municipalities might start protests as well. He said "we have shown that we do not want to hassle the world. To ensure the functioning of municipalities and have work it is better to close everything for 4-5 days. With these measures there are municipalities that cannot buy oil for their garbage trucks but no one is speaking about that."

KEDE president Kostas Askounis transferred the responsibility of the non-timely assessment of structures in the ministries to the Interior and Administrative Reform saying that "we had sent a request since December 2012. The ministries have sent us documents with standards and criteria of evaluation on 4 May 2013. We were told they would send us technical advice and we are still waiting."

ADEDI secretary Ilias Iliopoulos said that for the assessment of structures officials must "reconsider this process to provide greater comfort, as emergency procedures are negative for the parliamentary democracy. Whatever cases have illegality features must obviously put out of service, as well as those who have filed false documents." On the issue of school security guards he urged the government to "do not do politics with the pitiable condition of some people. Some can barely buy their bread."

GESEVE President George Kavathas argued that the multi-bill falls short of expectations and that “we have been begging for a year that they accept the VAT reduction in catering. I feel like a second class citizen with the state of the country. You are trying to run the social automation and will not find us supporters in the elimination of the municipal police."
