GENOP PPC announced that "as we have always done, we will move within the framework of what is defined by the laws and the Constitution, which still protects the right to go on strike." This is not going to happen in the coming days and at least not until the government declares its policy in the field of Energy and the PPC. "Then we will make any decision about a strike."

They also say that "if the government proves that by privatizing the PPC or selling out several of its parts, tomorrow the consumer will have a cheaper kilowatt per hour, then we will agree that the privatization be carried out on the same day." They also speak of a "of an orgy of black propaganda and distortion of the positions of the confederation on the planned sale of the last large public company."
