"The country needs stability"

In his speech in Alexandroupolis, Antonis Samaras asked for a clear mandate so that the country can turn a new page, and concluded the campaign of his party.

Samaras reiterated that the country needs stability and warned that if ND does not receive a strong mandate, it will result in instability. “Therefore I urge you to vote for political stability. Give a clear mandate to change everything”, he added, noting that without stability not only does the next government remain in danger, but also everything else does.

At the same time, the ND president launched a fierce attack against the Left and against Al. Tsipras, while he also moved against parties which, as he stated, “are not leftist, but do and say the same things”.

Mr. Samaras blamed the Left for “wanting to demolish everything, playing dangerous games with the country’s European course”. He supported that the Left is feeding on the crisis and hopes that poverty, unemployment and closures are never overcome so that they can increase their percentages."
