Hackers attack the State General Accounting Office!

Okay, we might not be living in the most organized country in the world, but disseminating State General Accounting Office files and some of its most important addresses on the Internet is beyond belief.

Yet supporters of Anonymous Greeks carried out a powerful cyber attack a few days ago against a series of organizations controlled by the broader sense of the state, such as the Karditsa population register, the Kavala TEI and the General Accounting Office.

Indeed, after the cyber attack various online records concerning the General Secretariat of Fiscal Policy, as well as files of the Directorate General of the Treasury and Budget, have been leaked on the internet.

The news was published after research done by the SecNews blog, and was confirmed by relevant protothema.gr sources within the Finance Ministry, who are evaluating the incidate as quite serious.

Hackers in fact have posted a message in which they blame the electronic files kept by the state.

“For the state, you are numbers… but there are no indicators of misery for the state”
