"I will perform my duties regardless of who is hurt"

A resonant response to the unprecedented attack by Dora Bakoyannis-Isidoros Kouvelos on the case of the transfer of one million U.S. dollars abroad, came from the Head of the Authority against Money laundering, Mr. Panayiotis Nikoloudis.

The chief public prosecutor characteristically states that from the outset he had clarified that his review had not shown a “criminal origin of the money” and noted that he did not even use the words "Member of Parliament." He added that “I will continue performing my duties honestly, impartially and without prejudice, regardless of whom the enforcement of legality hurts or benefits, and regardless of whether or not I intimidate anyone”.
