The Skopjans advertise courses in the Macedonian language for northern Greeks!

Skopje are exploiting the new technologies and the internet in their attempt to prove that there are Macedonians in Greece who don’t feel they are Greeks.

According to Kurir, the pro-government news portal, an online program for teaching Macedonian to students in northern Greece, an area with a lot of their expatriates according to the Skopjans, is being realised. 

The title of the program is “Learn Makedonski online” and as it appears lessons start onOctober 17 and classes will be formed based on the number of applicants. 

“Teaching will be done by teachers via multimedia and students in each class will have audio and visual communication according to the latest information technology for teaching online”, said project leader Mitko Giovanof to newspapers in Skopje. 

The teaching of Makedonski will be free of charge, requiring only the completion of a form. The lessons will follow the official government curriculum and each class will have ten students. They will be divided into three levels, beginner, intermediate and advanced, and each level will have 35 hours. Upon examination, the graduates will receive the same qualifications that apply in the country by the relevant committee.
