Universities all over Greece occupied

It is going to be a “warm” autumn for Universities since the “occupations” of the schools all over the country have started.

The beginning was made by university student at Pantios University of Athens that decided to proceed with the occupation of the school as a means of demonstration against the changes in universities the government is trying to pass. The occupation will last for a week.

Today a group of students that are close to the Greek communist Party had blocked the entrance of the building to all the teacher and student faculty of the University. Similar incidents occurred with the faculty of Aristotle University in Thessalonica. There is also an occupation at the Polytechnic School of Crete. Student meetings are occurring currently in most universities so that student bodies can decide on their courses of action.
