UPD:
The meeting between Yiannis Ragousis and taxi owners concluded late on Friday afternoon.
The taxi owners, however, left disappointed by the Ministry since, as they said, they did not receive a response from their minister to the proposals they submitted.
“The strike will be ongoing until we receive concrete answers” said SATA chairman, Thimios Lymberopoulos, after the marathon meeting.
Mr. Lymberopoulos stated that the industry is seeking answers right this moment and not a time-frame for announcements in August, as proposed by the Ministry.
“The minister listened to our issues carefully but gave us no concrete answers”, he added.
Mr. Ragousis met the owners' association after having met with the Board of Directors of the Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises (SETE).
