Potential snowfall even in Athens according to weather reports

The weather will present a gradual change on Monday (07/03/2011), which will be marked by a drop in temperature as well as snowfall not only on the mountains, but also on the plains of both Northern and Central Greece.
Snowfall is predicted in island areas as well. On the night leading up to Tuesday, snowfall in western and central Macedonia, Thessaly, the eastern mainland, Euboea and northern and eastern Peloponnese, will be intense.
Northern winds in the region of the Northern Aegean Sea will grow stronger on Tuesday, where they will reach 9 or 10 points on the Beaufort scale.

According to recent figures, on Tuesday (08/03/2011) snowfall in the west and the north will weaken but there might be localized, powerful frost. In the east and south the snowfall will continue, even up until Wednesday.
For Attiki, on Monday evening and during the night leading up to Tuesday, possibly strong snowfall will occur in the northern part of the county. On Tuesday and Wednesday, there might be snowfall even in the city of Athens.
