Pangalos indirectly announced the end of his political career at the meeting of the Hellenic Association of Insurance Companies.
Talking about the difficulties faced by the Finance minister, the Deputy Prime Minister made reference to the "end of his life", implying the end of his political career.
More specifically, his statement was "I did not want to take up as Finance minister and implement taxes now, at the end of my life."
This is what he underlined at the closing of the event at the annual meeting of the HAIC.
