Swedes return to Greece

An increase of Swedish visitors between 8% and 10% compared to last year's tourist season, is expected according to the data given by large tour operators of Scandinavia.

The positive climate for our country began to bear fruits, since from time to time, several Scandinavian Sunday newspapers hosted special reports concerning Greece and its beauties. In one of them, in fact, which is targeted towards business tours and corporate meetings, the Athenian Riviera and Asteras of Vouliagmeni was the theme of the cover.

The Swedish market seems to keep its interest for our country undiminished, while arrivals are expected to be significantly higher than in the summer of 2013.

Recently, in-flight magazine of SAS, "Scanorama" hosted an extensive tribute to Crete, while stressing that making reservations early is the indicated trend for this year.

A key role in meeting demand, is expected to be played by new flight connections and an increase of flights by Aegean Airlines and SAS to and from our country.
