During a reconnaissance mission
An Ukrainian military aircraft was hit by gunfire while flying over Slaviansk city in eastern Ukraine.
According to preliminary information, the aircraft was making a reconnaissance flight over the city which is under the control of Russian-friendly separatists.
"Unknown parties fired against an AN-30 of the Ukrainian Air Force, which was making a reconnaissance flight over Slaviansk. It was hit by a plethora of bullets", stated the ministry.
