Ecumenical Patriarch's message for Easter

Ecumenical Patriarch Vartholomeos sent out a message on Easter Sunday, noting that "despite the apparent technological progress of the human society, despite the declarations for human rights and religious freedom, the religious and the racial hatred is increasing throughout the world and causes dangerous tensions".

Vartholomeos went on to add that "Unfortunately, the people can't tolerate diversity in other human beings. They can't accept the different racial origin, the different political, religious and social ideas and beliefs".
