Ukraine: The communist who beat up a member of the far-right political party

Oksana Kaletnik is the communist woman wearing pearls who demonstrated her martial arts skills by punching an Ukrainian far-right party member, in the fist-fight that erupted yesterday in the Ukrainian parliament.




Oksana was born in Kmelnik and according to Ukrainian media has many years of experience in advertising. She was the Head of Advertising Department at Roksolana Company and in 1992 she founded Dali Advertising Agency.

From 2010 to 2012 she was an appointed a member of the National Broadcasting Council of Ukraine and in recent years she has become an MP with the Communist Party. She loves jewelry – especially pearls - expensive handbags and designer clothes.

According to Ukrainian media, increadibly wealthy Oksana is very strong-minded and when she fails to convey her views by peaceful means, she doesn't hesitate to ... impose them.

When a parliamentary punch-up broke out yesterday between members of the Ukrainian Communist Party and the far-right Svoboda All-Ukrainian Union, Oksana was quick to get involved. The Leader of the Communist Party, Pyotr Simonenko, provoked anger in the parliament by accusing Svoboda for doing nothing for the crisis plaguing the country and implicitly saying that the far-right party serves Russia's interests. In the subsequent fist-fight that erupted in Ukrainian parliament, the impressive communist MP was caught by the lens... beating far-right Svoboda MP, Yuriy Mykhalonysgy.




Ukrainian far-right MP did not reciprocate but Oksana continued to manifest her support for the head of the Communist Party, albeit somewhat violently.
