Mikis Theodorakis: The remake of "Passenger" album is out now

In the "Passenger" of 1981, Maria Farandouri interpreted a song cycle by Mikis Theodorakis, with the lyrics of Kostas Tripolitis, in a recording made ​​in Paris. Thirty- three years later, the Greek composer entrusts the "Passenger" songs to Fotini Darra, re-orchestrates them and directs the folk orchestra to create an explosive - definately more modern and rock - but still typical of Theodorakis version. The 88 year old composer creates an album that bears his charismatic trademark from beginning to end. As for Fotini Darra, he characterizes her in his note as "the ideal performer".
