Troika estimates the capital needs of Greek banks at 20 billion
Troika calculates the new capital needs of the systemic banks in Greece at 20 billion euros, Financial Times report today. As the article says this is three times the amount calculated by the Greek government, a differentiation that might bring a new round of tension between the two sides at a time when the auditing team has returned to Athens.

The newspaper adds that the disagreement over the recapitalization needs of Greek banks can cause a new clash between the two sides, and believes that it will have consequences on the need of Athens for a third aid package when the current one ends later this year.
