The council stopped at one of the 22 prerequisites - Amendment in parliament today by the Greek Education Minister
The final decision on the disbursement of the 4 billion euros tranche to Greece will be taken tomorrow. The slight delay in the final decision is due to the fact that despite the positive comments from the EuroWorkingGroup, the council agreed on 21 of the 22 prerequisite measures for the Greek government. The last measure on the transfer of teachers will be met with an amendment that will be filed in parliament today by the Education Minister Konstantinos Arvanitopoulos.
The amendment, as Arvanitopoulos said, will include the way in which "teachers of specializations that were removed can be absorbed either in units of the Health Ministry or in hour-wage positions in public IEKs (Vocational Training Institutes) or in other specialties and administrative services."
He added that "the people who will be suspended, cannot exceed 2,000.» the Euroworking Group will meet again on Friday to give its final approval to the disbursement of the 4 billion euros to Greece.
Specifically, from the 4,200 employees who were to be suspended, 80 were missing.
The Greek side once again requested a slight postponement until Friday in order for Arvanitopoulos to file an amendment that will remove some of the introduced exemptions, and which must be voted on Thursday so there can be a decision on Friday.
The postponement will have no effect on the disbursement. The IMF council will meet on Monday for the release of its own share of 1.8 billion euros.

Some proof that Troika toughens its stance could be seen in the fact that it postponed today’s scheduled presentation of the European Commission report by Matthias Morse on the course of the fiscal program of Greece.
