The weather will get worse from Saturday

Weather: intense rainfall and storms at night  and in the Ionian, the western mainland and western Peloponnisos, which will move to the rest of the mainland and Attica, Peloponnisos, the Cyclades and Crete by the early hours of Sunday. Snowfall, locally intense, is expected in the mainland mountains and hilly areas in the central mainland and Peloponnisos.

Winds: southeastern stormy initially in the Ionian and the Aegean during the night.

 

Sunday

Weather: rainfall and storms locally strong in the Ionian, the mainland, Attica, Peloponnisos, the Cyclades and Crete, moving to the eastern Aegean and the Dodecanese in the afternoon. Snowfall in the mainland mountains and hilly areas in the central mainland and Peloponnisos. Improvement is expected at midday starting from the west and gradually progressing to the rest of the country.

Winds: northern-northeastern 5 – 7B and 8 – 9B in the Aegean, gradually declining in the afternoon, eastern southeastern 5 – 7B in the rest of the country, increasing and turning to northern at midday.

Temperature: will gradually decline from the north, with frost forming in the early morning hours.
