Troika back in Athens with 5 "thorns" in its agenda
The Troika is returning to Athens and the economic team of the Greek government has prepared a series of issues, which it will bring to the attention of Thomsen, Masuch and Morse.

These are matters of great importance and concern the high prices of oil, the regulation of overdue debts, repatriation incentives, VAT in catering and extending the capital increases of banks.

The economic team has been scared by the apparent inability of households to buy heating oil, the price of which reaches 1.40 euros per litre, while the VAT in catering rate is at 13% and is now considered very high.

The problem is that the Finance ministry cannot replace its lost revenues from reduced oil consumption and VAT. On top of that, taxpayers seem fully unable to pay their current liabilities to the tax authorities.
