Upon exiting Maximos Mansion moments ago, Finance minister Yannis Stournaras expressed his anguish about the PPC and the special real estate fee.
He took part in the political leaders meeting, whom he briefed on the tax bill, privatizations and the PPC.
The finmin welcomed the decision by the Standard & Poor's rating agency to upgrade its assessment of the Greek economy by 7 scales. "It's an important decision that creates a climate of optimism," he said, adding however that "we will not rest".
"The road is long and uphill," he concluded.
