Venizelos will strike off anyone who deviates from the party "line"

Recognizing that the vote on the memorandum is of vital importance for the country, for PASOK and for himself too, Evangelos Venizelos will play all his cards.

If his party appears disrupted, given DIMAR’s stance, the country will get into trouble. This is why his message to the dissidents will be to vote in favour or be struck off from the parliamentary group and the party.

Essentially this is his response to Kostas Skandalidis, who seems to be choosing abstention by condemning the measures. But the chairman of the party will not tolerate either abstention or voting "present." Those who choose one of these two will receive the same treatment as if they had voted "no".

Ippokratous believes that the "losses" will be "up to five." Michalis Kassis who has already left, Theodoros Parastatidis, Markos Bolaris, Yannis Koutsoukos and Kostas Skandalidis.

Evangelos Venizelos will try to persuade the latter to change his mind for the unity of the party. According to information, he will invite Skandalidis to his office before the crucial vote. He will do the same with Yannis Koutsoukos.
